Suspect From June Manhunt In Vigo County Arrested

VIGO COUNTY (WIBQ) - Police have one man in custody, but are still looking for another person sought in connection with an attempted home invasion robbery in southern Vigo County last month. After receiving a tip that 35 year old Eddie Grisham was at a motel Vincennes police finally were able to capture him Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities believe Grisham was the driver who tried to run down two Vigo County Sheriff's Deputy who were responding to an emergency call from a resident in Pimento who claimed that three armed men where trying to get into her apartment. The suspects were able to get away and later abandoned the vehicle after crashing it in a southern Vigo County cornfield setting of an intense manhunt. One man was arrested shortly after the incident. The third unidentified person remains at large.
